On National Margarita Day, Wednesday, February 22, local restaurants will pay tribute to everyone's favorite tequila and lime libation with various 'rita-centric specials. Whether you prefer your margarita on the rocks with salt, fruit-forward or straight up, these spots offer a bevy of options for saying "salud!"
Nacional 27 and Tallboy Taco will offer three special Casamigos tequila cocktails for just $8 on Wednesday, February 22. The featured flavors include: Peaches & Dream (Casamigos Blanco, Grand Marnier Raspberry Peach, white peach puree, raspberry puree, lime); Tequila Thyme (Casamigos Reposado, anejo rum, triple sec, strawberry puree, thyme, lime, grapefruit bitters); and Orange-U-Hot (Casamigos Anejo, anejo rum, peach schnapps, agave, habanero, orange juice). The mouthwatering margaritas will continue to be featured during the entire month of February for $11.
Cantina Laredo will celebrate National Margarita Day with a five day fiesta. From Saturday, February 18 to Wednesday, February 22, the modern Mexican restaurant will offer their Perfect Patron 'Rita, made with Patron Silver and Patron Citronge orange liqueur, for $8 (regularly $12.25). As an added bonus, head to the upstairs lounge for half-priced menu items from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on weekdays. 5
Timothy O'Toole'sPub in Streeterville will shake up their signature O’Toole’s Margarita for just $5 on Wednesday, February 22. In addition, representatives from Casa Noble tequila will be on site from 7-9 p.m., passing out samples and swag. Pair your 'ritas with Chef Corey Grupe's pulled pork nachos, southwest salad, salmon rice bowl, ancho chile grilled fish tacos, chicken torta and more.
