May is National Burger Month and The Happ Inn, located in suburban Northfield, will celebrate by offering a different specialty burger each week. Chef Freddy Sanchez's burger month specials include a house made Chorizo Turkey burger, BBQ burger, Lamb burger and "Carlito's Way," a burger that pays tribute to The Happ Inn's proprietor and renowned North Shore restaurateur, Carlos Nieto.

On the regular lunch and dinner menus, guests will also find a variety of burger selections, including: The Happ InnPrime Burger (lettuce, tomato, onion and choice of cheese); Sunrise Burger (cheddar, crispy bacon, sunny side up egg, french fries and tabasco); Bacon & Blue Blackened Burger (Danish blue cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion and blue cheese dressing); Mexican Turkey Burger (stuffed with cilantro and onions, served with lettuce, tomato salsa and guacamole); Falafel & Black Bean Burger (lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion and tzatziki sauce); Mushroom & Swiss Burger (horseradish sauce, Swiss cheese, sauteed mushrooms, lettuce, tomato and onion); and the "Bill Kurtis Grassfed Burger" topped with lettuce, tomato, onion and choice of cheese.

The Happ Inn Bar and Grill is open Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday-Saturday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Sunday, 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

May 17-23:
Lamb Burger - cucumber, feta, kalamata olive, red onion, spicy tzaziki $15

May 24-31:
Chorizo Turkey Burger - chihuahua cheese, serrano aioli, poblano rajas $14
