Torali at The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago

Torali celebrates Mother’s Day weekend with a special brunch menu featuring seasonal dishes curated by Chef Guenther Moreno and desserts by Chef Toni Roberts. Brunch items including the Asparagus-Truffle Quiche, featuring caviar, arugula, frisee, sunkissed tomatoes, radish and lemon essence, and Caprese Eggs Benedict, with heirloom tomatoes, mozzarella, poached eggs and pesto hollandaise. A  toast to Mom with Bottomless Mimosas, Torali Bloody Mary or Rosé Champagne. Top it all off with a celebratory dessert such as the Hazelnut Banana Tiramisu, banana mascarpone mousse, hazelnut praline crunch and espresso caramel, or the Lemon Meringue Millefoglie, limoncello curd, lemon gelato, toasted meringue and basi. Torali’s brunch is available on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Reservations can be made via Tock.

Guests can also treat Mom to Mother’s Day Tea service, available on Saturday, May 11 and Sunday, May 12 at 2 p.m. An array of sweet and savory confections by Executive Pastry Chef Toni Roberts, including a variety of finger tea sandwiches, quiche, freshly baked scones and pastries. The experience includes a selection of teas and your choice of a complimentary glass of champagne or non-alcoholic French Bloom bubbly. Tickets are priced at $85 per person and can be purchased on Tock.

About Last Knife hosts brunch this Mother’s Day weekend with selections including Avocado Toast, served on sourdough; Chilaquiles, salsa verde, refried beans and two eggs your way; Pancakes, your style of seasonal compote, chocolate chip or fresh fruit; and more. Local chain's Stan's Donuts and Vanille Patisserie have introduced a new creation in time for Mother's Day: Strawberry Macaron LeStan, a croissant donut given a berry French twist filled with strawberry cream, tossed in sugar, drizzled with vanilla, and topped with a Strawberry macaron. Available for a limited time at select Stan's Donuts and Vanille Patisserie locations from Saturday May 11 - Sunday May 12. Each donut is sold in a pink gift box for $5.95 while quantities last.

Argot

Argot will offer a $38 Mother's Day Brunch prix-fixe menu as well as its full a la carte brunch menu on Sunday, May 12 from 10am-2:30pm. Argot will also be open for dinner service that evening from 5-9pm with the nightly a la carte menu offerings available. In addition, Moms dining for brunch or dinner will receive a freshly-baked cookie as a takeaway treat.

For Mother's Day Brunch, guests will choose from a selection of dishes for first and second courses, as well as a side. Guests can choose from: French Onion Soup or Squash Tartine for the first course; Quiche, Baguette French Toast, or Buckwheat Pancakes for the second course; and Bacon, Breakfast Potatoes, or Paulina Meats Breakfast Sausage for their sides. On Sunday, May 12, 2024, Medi Kitchen & Cocktail will stay open for dinner (last reservation at 8p) and offer a special menu of dishes and cocktails for the holiday, like the Spring Rose Spritz made with Aperol, prosecco, cherry, rose and lemon. For brunch that day, Moms will get a complimentary glass of champagne – and a flower will be gifted to every Mom all day.

Uptown’s Marina’s Bistro is celebrating Mother’s Day by launching the restaurant’s brand-new brunch menu. Bites include ham and cheese, or mushroom and cheese Croquetas, and Pastelillos de Huevos y Longaniza, made with egg, cheese, and Puerto Rican pork chorizo empanadas. Brunchers can select from three authentic Puerto Rican sandwiches, or Waffles con Fruta Tropical, Belgium waffles topped with seasonal fruit and cinnamon syrup, or Waffles de Coco – coconut waffles, chicken thighs, and guava sauce. Moms with a sweet tooth can indulge in the Sorullos de Maiz con queso, a Puerto Rican corn meal fritters with cheese, or the Pina A La Parrila, rum-spiked grilled pineapple with toasted coconut and homemade ice cream. Cesar's Killer Margaritas

Cesar’s Killer Margaritas is hosting ‘Selebrate Selena’ on Mother’s Day this year, with a tribute to Selena Quintanilla’s life, music, and legacy on Sunday, May 12th. The celebration, which will take place in the lounge, begins at 2:00 pm, and the first 100 people will receive roses. Guests can listent to mariachi music from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm., along with food, music, and killer drinks. Presale tickets can be purchased online or purchased at the door for $30.

Vinci

Vinci will be hosting a Mother’s Day Brunch, on Sunday, May 12th. Priced at $38 per person, brunch goers can treat mom to one main dish, along with an appetizer and dessert buffet. Main course options include Frittata, comprised of spinach, Applewood smoked bacon, and goat cheese, Breakfast Pizza with Parmigiano cream, applewood smoked bacon, mushrooms, caramelized onions, scrambled eggs, pecorino, and arugula, or Vinci’s French Toast, and 10 other dishes, including delectable pastas, seafood, steak, and a Grilled Pork Chop, with roasted potatoes and green beans. Mirella's Tavern

Mirella’s Tavern recently launched their weekend brunch, and the Wicker Park tavern is looking to celebrate moms and mother-figures with an All-You-Can-Eat buffet, on May 12th. For $35, diners can select from a Cold Buffet, consisting of fruit trays, Lox, Ceasar Salad, and a meat and cheese platter, while the restaurant’s Hot Buffet is comprised of French toast, bacon, breakfast sausage, eggs benedict, breakfast potatoes, and scrambled eggs. Lure Fishbar

Lure Fishbar invites guests to celebrate Mother's Day with special brunch and dinner menus. The Mother's Day Brunch features dishes like Caviar Omelette, Vanilla Rum French Toast, Baked Eggs, and Mixed Berry Tart. The Dearborn is offering a number of brunch specials crafted by Executive Chef Aaron Cuschieri for moms who love both sweet and savory. This year, The Smith is offering a Hen of the Woods Mushroom Quiche with melted leeks and Gruyère cheese as a special dish to honor moms. This year, Farm Bar’s Lakeview location is introducing Mother’s Day brunch specials. The modern, Middle Eastern spot in Chicago’s River North neighborhood from Chef Sujan Sarkar and Sahil Sethi, are opening their second floor rooftop space for Mother’s Day dinner service this May. In Sifr’s new spring menu, diners will find both chefs seamlessly blending the Middle Eastern flavors found in the restaurant’s opening menu, but with a focus on introducing the Indian techniques and ingredients they are most passionate about. Located in the Financial District 21 stories above street level, Grill on 21 is within The LaSalle, serving a modern interpretation of the classic American grill.
