Mordecai will continue its Summer Baseball Movie Series throughout August with weekly screenings of baseball films, a whiskey-themed happy hour, and food and beverage specials during every Chicago Cubs home game.
The movie series will take place on Sunday evenings beginning around 8 p.m., with guests able to watch baseball films while enjoying food and drinks. The August lineup includes Million Dollar Arm on Aug. 9, A League of Their Own on Aug. 16, Mr. Baseball on Aug. 23, and a fan-selected film on Aug. 30 determined through voting on the restaurant’s Instagram account. Select screenings will include complimentary popcorn.
On Monday, Aug. 31, Mordecai will partner with Cooperstown Distillery for a pregame happy hour beginning at 4 p.m. ahead of the Cubs' evening game. The event will feature complimentary whiskey tastings, specialty cocktails, and whiskey flights. Guests who purchase a featured cocktail or flight will be entered into a drawing for a Ryne Sandberg commemorative decanter paired with a bottle of Cooperstown Select Straight Bourbon Whiskey.
Throughout the Cubs season, Mordecai will continue its game day offerings, including Gametime Oysters with discounted oysters from first pitch through the final out and a game day happy hour featuring select cocktails, beer, wine, and food specials. Located across from Wrigley Field, the restaurant will offer the promotions during every Cubs home game.
