Mora Restaurant Group, a family-owned business that owns and operates three upscale Pan-Asian restaurants, today announced its Mora Meals GoFundMe campaign to feed frontline healthcare workers. The Group is matching each donation, doubling the amount of food they deliver to hospitals that fall within a ten-mile radius of their restaurants (Bolingbrook, Oak Park and Plainfield).

We are all grateful for the tireless resolve of the healthcare workers who are on the front lines of fighting this pandemic,” says Jason Morales, a co-founder of Mora Restaurant Group. “It takes $12 to feed one person, and because we’re matching donations, we’re serving two meals for each $12 we raise. Our goal is to raise $12,000 so that we can deliver 2,000 meals to area hospitals.”

The program not only provides fresh, chef-driven food to local healthcare heroes, it helps Mora keep its staff gainfully employed during this difficult time for restaurant workers.

To date, Mora Restaurant Group is scheduled to deliver nearly 500 meals to area hospitals, including Loyola University Medical Center, Rush University Medical Center and AMITA Health Adventist Medical Center.
