"MIXT&PE" Cocktail Competition at Kick

It's a cocktail mix off! Head to Kick, located in Chicago's North Center neighborhood, for a cocktail competition that rocks. On Sunday, June 12 at 6 p.m., five local bartenders will present a cocktail inspired by a song of their choice, made with Copper & Kings American Brandy. Each contestant in the Chicago semi-finals will have five minutes to make and showcase their music-inspired drink while the song is being played (artists range from Muse and Kings of Leon to 90's rap group Onyx). The first place bartender will win a spot at the national Mix Tape Finals and a trip to Copper & King's Forecastle Festival in Louisville, KY.

Kick's mixologists will feature two special cocktails made with Copper & Kings American Brandy, "King's Old Fashioned" and "Wild and Young" ($8 each; outlined below). Pair your libations with Kick's bold, contemporary menu featuring flavorful fare from far-flung spots such as Mexico, Vietnam, India, Peru, Argentina and Italy.
