The Rundown

National Chicken Wing Day may be dampened this year due to a national chicken wing shortage, but at Miller’s Ale House, World-Famous Zingers will be fresh and hote for the July 29 holiday.

Zingers, a Miller’s Ale House original for 30 years, are made with fresh, whole boneless chicken tenders, which are buttermilk drenched, hand-breaded and fried up for a wing-style bite — no bones about it. Guests can order them tossed in a choice of 17 different sauces ranging from Mild to 5 Pepper Fire.

To celebrate #NationalZingDay, Chicagoland and Illinois locations of Miller’s are hosting a giveaway on Instagram through July 29. Fans can follow @millersalehouse, like this post and tag a friend for a chance to win one of fifty, $50 Miller’s gift cards.

“We started celebrating ‘National Zing Day’ at Miller’s several years ago because Zingers are a perfect way for our guests to enjoy a classic wing taste without having to bother with the bones,” said Miller’s Ale House Vice President of Marketing Andrea Von Utter. “We serve up more than two and a half million orders of Zingers a year, and we think they deserve to be celebrated on National Chicken Wing Day.”

Miller’s currently has 9 locations throughout Illinois, with 2 of those locations in Chicago.
