Professional skateboarder Neen Williams and Chef Phillip Frankland Lee of the restaurant Pasta|Bar in Los Angeles, will be opening their second NADC (“Not a Damn Chance”) Burger Chicago location in Wicker Park in March. Located at 1426 North Milwaukee Avenue, NADC Burger is Williams and Lee’s take on the double cheeseburger, with a menu of just two things – burgers and fries.

“Of all the locations NADC Burger has throughout the country, Chicago is especially meaningful because I was born and raised here,” says Co-founder and Co-creator Neen Williams. “I’m so grateful for NADC’s success and appreciative for our loyal clientele who love something so much that we get to open a second location in this city, providing another opportunity to serve my friends and Chicagoans my favorite burger.”

The new Wicker Park location’s menu will mimic other NADC Burger locations, including Chicago’s West Town (415 N. Milwaukee Ave.) and will feature:

  • NADC Burger: The burger is a double patty of 100-percent full-blooded RC Ranch wagyu beef, American cheese, NADC secret sauce, onions which are grilled and smashed into the burger when being cooked, slightly tamed jalapeños, and pickles.

  • Fries: plain, or Beast Mode, which adds cheese, diced pickles, slightly tamed jalapeños, NADC special sauce, and seasoning.

The 2,100-square-foot space will have 60 seats of indoor seating, plus patio seating in the summertime. There will be a full bar which will offer drinks including draft beer, and cans of Dutchbag Pickle Trick - NADC’s collaboration with Dutchbag Brew Co., offering a gose with watermelon, dill and pickling spice sour beer - to specialty crafted cocktails like a Tokyo Fish House Punch; suntory toki, peach, coconut, green tea, and pandan. There will also be a rotation of seasonal, crafted cocktails.

“To be given the opportunity to open a second NADC Burger location in a food city like Chicago is rewarding in itself,” says Co-Owner and Co-Founder, Phillip Frankland Lee. “Chicagoans know good food and we trust their opinions, so to have the demand to operate not one, but two locations in this city is gratifying as we continue to try to be the best burger.”
