Mercat a la Planxa: Paella for the People Collab with Saint Lou's Assembly
March 11, 2020
Paella for the People is new quarterly collaboration series where Mercat a la Planxa partners with a local chef to create a one-of-a-kind paella by incorporating the guest restaurant’s unique cuisine.
Paella for the People kicks off with the "Thai-Ella," a Thai-inspired paella crafted by Chef Michael Lanzerotte, Executive Chef of Saint Lou's Assembly - the full-service cafeteria-style restaurant in Fulton Market. The paella is available through the end of March and is priced at $55 with $5 of each paella sold going towards Holiday Heroes. The non-profit’s mission is to provide joy and entertainment to children who are seriously ill by hosting themed hospital parties.
"Thai-Ella" ($55) featuring Thai sausage, mussels, and shrimp along with other Southeast Asian flavorings.
