Mercat a la Planxa Offers Complimentary Bacon-Wrapped Dates over Labor Day Weekend

This year, International Bacon Day happens to fall over Labor Day, so Spanish restaurant Mercat a la Planxa is offering a special for the holiday all weekend long. The restaurant’s signature bacon-wrapped dates will be complimentary for any guest who mentions the special. A favorite since the restaurant opened ten years ago, the dates are stuffed with chorizo and a marcona almond before being wrapped in a piece of bacon and drizzled with a creamy La Peral cheese fondue. Complimentary bacon-wrapped dates will be offered for brunch only (7 a.m. - 3 p.m.) on September 1-3.
