After the barbecues, patrons can head to aliveOne at 5 p.m. for half-off all beer and cocktails from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. along with Memorial Day specials like $4 Old Style, $5 shots of Evan Williams, and a $7 PBR and whiskey shot combo. At 8 p.m., guests will be offered free music trivia from Whaddayaknow and free pool all night.

Bartoli's Pizzeria

Bartoli’s Pizzeria in Roscoe Village and West Town will donate a portion of proceeds from sales over Memorial Day weekend to Homes For Our Troops. Homes For Our Troops (HFOT) is a publicly funded 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization that builds and donates specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans, to enable them to rebuild their lives. 

Bartoli’s offers deep dish and thin crust tavern-style pizza, a selection of salads and appetizers like Wings Vesuvio, Badger-style Fried Cheeseballs and more along with sandwiches like Italian Beef, a Pizza Burger and Nonna Bartoli’s Meatball Sub. Bartoli’s is open for dine-in as well as delivery and takeout.

Central Park Bar

Central Park Bar is hosting a Patio Party sponsored by New Belgium Brewing Co. on Tuesday, May 31 at 7 p.m. The party will be held in their new 3,500 square foot, dog-friendly Backyard Bar complete with covered outdoor bar, bumper pool table, picnic tables, porch swings and fire pit. Guests will be offered custom glass engravings from New Belgium, games, prizes and more. Patrons can kick off the festivities early with Central Park Bar’s half-price happy hour from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Cody's Public House

Cody’s game day specials will include $4 Old Style tall boy cans, $6 Spiteful Brewing Bleacher Bum Blonde and $6 Cubby Bombs. Guests are invited to “Bring Your Own Meat” (BYOM) and use the grill in Cody’s beer garden to grill up all their game day items. Cody’s beer garden also features TVs, darts and bean bags. 

Easy Bar

Easy Bar will open at  8 p.m. on Memorial Day. Drink specials will include $4 Oskar Blues, and $8 beer and shot combos. Guests can choose drinks throughout the weekend on Easy Bar’s dog-friendly sidewalk patio with seating for 15 to 20 guests. 

Estelle's 

Estelle’s will open at 10 p.m. on Monday, May 30. Specials will include half-price BYO (build-your-own) burgers all evening. Patrons can also try Estelle’s National Burger Month special, a "BurGyro" for $16 featuring gyro beef and lamb slices, tzatziki sauce, feta cheese, and a six-ounce beef patty on a bed of lettuce. 

Matcha Cita

The recently opened Matcha Cita in the West Loop will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Memorial Day. Festive specials will include the Red, White and Bluetiful matcha drink with vanilla almond milk, collagen, blueberry, and beet powder for $8.95, and a Funfetti Waffle with strawberries, banana, whipped cream and red, white and blue sprinkles for $9.95. 

The Graystone Tavern

The Graystone Tavern in Wrigleyville will host a Memorial Day Backyard BBQ on Sunday, May 29 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. For a $10 donation, which will go directly to Wounded Warrior Project, guests can choose from an all-you-can-eat BBQ menu featuring hamburgers, cheeseburgers, beer brats, chips, coleslaw and refried beans.

Drink specials include an $8 22-ounce stein of Empirical Local’s Lager, and $4 for every stein will also be donated to Wounded Warrior Project. The barbecue will be held in their outdoor beer garden with space for 50 guests among 12 tables. Cubs fans can also catch all the Cubs vs Sox game action at 1:10 p.m. on 9 TVs throughout the bar. 

Remedy

Remedy will open on Memorial Day at 4 p.m. and guests can select from post-barbecue drinks with half-price happy hour from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Guests can choose cocktail selections like the Rhubarbella with Aviation Gin, Aperol, lemon juice, rhubarb bitters and simple syrup, El Diablo with Olmeca Altos or El Buho Mezcal, Creme de Cassis, lime juice, and ginger beer, and the Winthrop with Tito’s Vodka, Limoncello, Creme de Violette, lemon juice, butterfly pea tea, and vanilla. 

Rewired Pizza Cafe & Bar

Rewired Pizza Cafe & Bar in Edgewater, will be open throughout Memorial Day weekend and offers a 40 seat dog-friendly patio. Guests can kick off the weekend early on Thursday, May 26, there will be live music from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Rewired will also offer happy hour specials on Thursday, May 26, Friday, May 27 and Monday, May 30 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. featuring $3 slices, half-off select apps, $4 house wine (malbec, chardonnay, rosé), $5 drafts, and a beer, shot, slice combo for $10. 

Guests can also select Saturday and Sunday brunch from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. with new cartoon-themed items like a Panchito Pistoles Bowl with al pastor meat, pineapple, pickled onion, potato, salsa verde, cilantro, and an over easy egg, and a Cowabunga Breakfast Pie, a personal-sized white sauce pizza with choice of protein and over easy egg. Bottomless Mimosas will be available for $25.  

Roscoe Street-ery

As part of the City of Chicago’s Expanded Outdoor Dining Program, the 2000 block of Roscoe Street from Damen to Seeley will be closed to feature on-street al fresco dining. The Roscoe Street-ery will be held Friday through Sunday on the second and fourth weekends of every month from May 27 through October 23. 

Guests can select food and drinks from Commonwealth Tavern, Kitsch’n, Same Same and Volo Restaurant Wine Bar with rotating Street-ery food and drink specials. Participating restaurants will accept reservations and try to accommodate requests for Street-ery dining. 

The Street-ery restaurants will also offer weekly specials and/or discounts May through October on Street-ery weekends when patrons shop at participating local merchants on Roscoe Street and present a receipt. 

The Owl

The Owl in Logan Square at 11 p.m. for $3 Budweisers and $6 Margaritas until 4 a.m. on Memorial Day. 

The Rambler Kitchen + Tap

The Rambler in North Center is hosting FREE music trivia at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 26 hosted by Whaddayaknow. 

The Rambler will also host brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. featuring bottomless mimosas and mimosa buckets. Brunch options include the scratch-made Country Biscuit topped country fried steak, sausage gravy, and an egg, pound cake Turtle French Toast, stuffed then topped with rich chocolate, caramel, chocolate chips, crushed pecans and fresh whipped cream, and The Rambler Scrambler with three scrambled eggs, red and green peppers, mushrooms, onions, ham, bacon, sausage, and cheddar, served with a mountain of seasoned breakfast potatoes.

Uvae Kitchen and Wine Bar

Uvae Kitchen and Wine Bar in Andersonville is hosting an in-person “Rosé All Day” wine tasting on Saturday, May 28 at 3 p.m. The $35 per person tasting features 4 four-ounce pours and will be led by Uvae Sommeliers and guest wine makers. Small bite add-ons include a Cheese Plate ($15), Cheese & Charcuterie Plate ($20) and Duck Pâté ($12).

Hotel Zachary

Hotel Zachary is still offering baseball fans a package to celebrate the Cubs. Guests booking a stay at the hotel between May 23 - May 29 with a ballpark or neighborhood view and up to four tickets to an architectural tour of historic Wrigley Field. The guided tour lasts 75 – 90 minutes and includes the Chicago Cubs' dugout, field, upper deck, bleachers, and Outfield Ivy. Those interested in booking can select date ranges between May 23-29 to have the special applied. After the tour, guests will be able to watch the Cubs v. White Sox game on the video board at Gallagher Way from The Terrace at The Bar at Hotel Zachary. 

Sofitel Chicago

In between Oak Street and Michigan Avenue shopping corridors, the hotel offers a dog-friendly patio, La Terrace, where you can order the restaurant’s specialty cocktails (or mocktails) to celebrate Memorial Day weekend.

Skydeck Chicago 

This spring, Skydeck Chicago is bringing back its Pie in the Sky dinner experience, giving tourists and Chicagoans alike, the chance to dine 1,353 feet above the city. This after-hours three-course meal features Giordano’s stuffed pizza, salad and dessert complimented by views of the city.

Fairmont Chicago

The Lake House, creates a built-in boathouse surrounding the Fairmont Chicago lobby bar accompanied by lake house-inspired games like cornhole. In addition to the decked-out lobby area, Director of Food and Beverage, William Schultz, offers a new seasonal menu of summer inspired bites. Option include pork ribs, beef brisket, fried calamari, easy peel shrimp boil, and a robust seafood platter to feature lobster, mussels, and clams. Guests will also offered hand-crafted cocktails including the Fish Bowl, Boat House Punch, Salty Dog, and a Caramelized Pineapple Margarita. 

Columbus Tap

Columbus Tap will be launching new weekly food events starting May 26 – September 9.

Replay Lincoln Park

SUEÑOS Music Festival x BACARDÍ

BACARDÍ will be celebrating Chicago’s first-ever SUEÑOS Music Festival this Memorial Day Weekend by bringing its own CASA BACARDÍ experience right to festivalgoers all weekend long.

To celebrate the first year of this all-new Latin music festival, CASA BACARDÍ will act as a coasis onsite at the event, transporting attendees to a faraway paradise minus the flight. Complete with a bracelet-making station and a Do What Moves You photo moment, the space will showcase a special homage to Chicago’s Pilsen district and the Latinx murals – a mural that brims with heritage at the hands of a talented local artist, and the opportunity for guests to contribute to the artwork by writing their own inspirational messages throughout.

Attendees will have a chance to sip specialty cocktails like the signature Escápate Con Mojito – made with BACARDĺ Tropical Flavored Rum, lime juice, monin mojito syrup, soda water, a wedge of lime and a fresh mint sprig – as well as BACARDĺ Coco Colada – a frozen creation boasting a blend of BACARDĺ Coconut Rum and BACARDÍ Superior Rum – or sipping as you show off some of your best dance moves to songs from artists like J Balvin and Ozuna!

City Works Eatery & Pour House

Brunch will be offered at City Works Eatery & Pour House, located in Schaumburg and Vernon Hills, this Memorial Day.

Ina Mae Tavern (1415 N. Wood St) is hosting a Memorial Day Crawfish Boil on Monday, May 30th from 11AM-5PM to honor those who have selflessly served our country. For $39 a person (pre-purchase required), guests are invited to choose 3 lbs of crawfish, corn, and potatoes between 12PM and 3PM. Lottie’s Pub

Lottie’s Pub (1925 W. Cortland St) is offering a FREE tie dying patio party on Monday, May 30th from 2PM-4PM in honor of Memorial Day. With the shirt, dye, and all other supplies provided, guests can customize their tye dye shirt while cooling off with $4 Leine Summer Shandies, $5 Milagros, and $6 Milagro Margaritas. Tanta

Tanta (118 W Grand Ave) is helping Chicagoans celebrate Memorial Day at home by offering Peruvian Style BBQ Kits. People can celebrate their freedom in the comfort of their own backyard, firing up the grill to make Peruvian favorites, such as anticuchos, empanadas, and fingerling potatoes, among others. Tanta is offering two different ready-to-grill packages, the El Anticuchero for $75 (4 chicken skewers, 4 beef tenderloin skewers, 4 shrimp skewers, and 4 salmon skewers) along with the El Barrio for $100 (6 beef tenderloin skewers, 6 vegetable skewers, 6 shrimp skewers, and 1 whole chicken cut into 4 pieces), with both packages including Tanta’s smoky aji panca Anticuchera sauce, Peruvian corn, roasted fingerling potatoes, and Peruvian aji sauces. Lure Fishbar

Lure Fishbar is offering Picnic Baskets to-go, launching Memorial Day Weekend. The picnic baskets can be for those at outdoor concerts at Millennium Park, boating on the Lake, or those looking for a meal to share on their balcony or porch at home. 

The picnic baskets are $125 and include Lure signature items:

Avli on The Park

This Memorial Day Weekend, Avli on The Park will host Nights in Mykonos on Saturday, May 28. Kicking off at 7 p.m., the night begins with the sunset on Avil’s rooftop patio, followed by a featured silent disco.

For the main event, guests will be directed into Avli's main dining room — which will be transformed into a Mykonos music experience — where guests will be treated to the melodic sounds of Mykonos. 

Additional happenings include an appearance from Chicago's Finest Magician, a 360 photo booth and an Olympia Express giveaway of round trip airfare to Greece for two people. Optional dinner reservations are available from 5 to 9 p.m. Tickets range from $80 per person and are available for purchase via Tock.

The Cafeteria

The Cafeteria (840 N. Orleans St.), the multi-restaurant food hall concept in River North, will offer buy one, get one free smoothies from Planta Friday, May 27 through Monday, May 30. Typically priced at $9 each, guests may create a custom smoothie or go with one of the signature offering like the Blueberry Spirulina with blueberries, almond milk, bee pollen, chia seeds and bananas or the Wake Up with coffee protein, bananas, cold brew coffee, chocolate covered cocoa beans and dates.

Here Here Market

Here Here Market offers the Chicago Hot Dog Meal Kit ($63) featuring all the traditional fixings needed to create a Chicago Dog, including locally made celery salt, sweet relish, Chicago sport peppers, and mustard, along with some twists on the classics, like Garlic Dill Pickles, MustKetch, and the Original Chicago Sauce. Just grab some franks, sausages, kielbasa, or brats and your favorite buns for a bbq experience. Curbside pick-up available through Friday, May 27

Utopian Tailgate

Utopian Tailgate, the rooftop above The Second City, will host its second Beer Pong Tournament this Memorial Day weekend on Monday, May 30th from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. 64 teams will compete in the 300-person, 10,000-square-foot indoor/outdoor tailgate space for glory and a grand prize of $500. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Gary Sinise Foundation, which supports defenders, veterans and first responders. 

An entry ticket costs $50 for a team of two, and includes a six pack of beer to kick the team’s day off. To reserve a spot, a team can purchase an entry ticket via Resy.
