As downtown Chicago continues to redefine its weekend dining scene, Mariela is helping fill a gap in the Loop with the launch of its weekend brunch service. At a time when many Loop restaurants remain closed on Saturdays and Sundays, the restaurant is giving locals, hotel guests, and weekend visitors a reason to linger downtown.
The newly launched brunch menu offers elevated takes on classic morning fare, including Buttermilk Pancakes topped with chipotle maple syrup, plantain fosters, seasonal jam, and butter; Spicy Avocado Toast on pan de cristal with roasted vegetables and salsa macha; French Toast soaked in saffron-cardamom custard and finished with seasonal fruit and orange blossom whip; and a Rosti Shakshouka featuring crispy potato rosti, poached eggs, and harissa-spiced tomato sauce.
Breakfast is available daily from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with special brunch offerings available Saturday & Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
