Chicago's only German and Southern-inspired restaurant is turning to their European neighbor to the east, Poland, for the upcoming Carnival and Mardi Gras holiday. Pastry Chef Rachel Slivicki bakes up her take on paczki in two varieties of the filled doughnuts, strawberry jam and vanilla bean custard, each sold for $4.
