Mardi Gras comes to The Gold Coast’s Division Street Entertainment District on Tuesday, February 28. Mardi Gras is being celebrated six ways across six bars, with a midnight drawing for a trip to New Orleans, LA.

Revelers who collect Mardi Gras beads at all six participating bars will be entered into the drawing for the trip to New Orleans. The prize includes Amtrak tickets and two nights at the French Quarter’s legendary Hotel Monteleone (located in the heart of the District at 214 Royal Street). The drawing will be held at Coconutz. Festivities include everything from limbo contests and feasting on free jambalaya to dancing to Boy Band Review and taking part in “Comedy Gras”.

The evening’s line-up includes:

Free Jambalaya at The Lodge Tavern

The bar will be keeping the party going (it will have celebrated its 60th anniversary the night before) by serving classic New Orleans fare for Fat Tuesday. Sister bar Coconutz will be cooking up the jambalaya, which will be served from 8 p.m. until they run out!

Bringing all the dancing, harmonies and energy, Boy Band Review transports audience members back in time to the days of frosted tips and hunky frontmen professing their undying love.
