March's Uncork The Archives with InterContinental Chicago

InterContinental Chicago honors Chicago by hosting “Uncork the Archives,” a tour combining history, wine, and live music. The next installment of the monthly series takes place on Wednesday, March 28, offering sips and bites from ENO Wine Bar, and a tour of the hotel delving into the history and architecture of the property.

The tour begins at the hotel’s corner wine bar with a sommelier-hosted tasting featuring wine, cheese and chocolate. Hillary Marzec, a guide and founder of Inside Chicago Walking Tours, leads guests on a tour of InterContinental Chicago’s historic tower, highlighting the hidden secrets, famous guests, and historical and architectural features. History buffs are invited to end the night swinging and sipping back at ENO, with live jazz and swing music entertainment provided by one of the hotel’s local trios, as well as a complimentary glass of wine.

The hotel serves as the backdrop for a night of uncorking the archives mixed with entertainment. Tickets are $48 and can be purchased here. The ticket includes a wine, cheese and chocolate tasting at ENO, live music, and a tour of the property. The recurring event takes place on the last Wednesday of every month.
