To coincide with back-to-school season and National Chicken Month in September, MAK: Modern Asian Kitchen will host a month-long fundraiser with proceeds benefitting Chicago Public Schools. From Tuesday, September 5 through Sunday, September 30, MAK will donate a portion of proceeds from all Chicken Wang sales to CPS. As an added bonus, guests can enjoy buy-one-get-one free Chicken Wangs every Wednesday throughout September.
MAK's Chicken Wangs, named after owner Tommy Wang, are lolli-pop style, crispy fried and doused in a sweet and spicy sauce. Diners can choose from hot, medium or non-spicy. This special applies to both small and large orders as well as dine-in and delivery.
