Mac’s Wood Grilled Announces St. Patrick’s Day, College Hoops, and Lenten Specials

Mac’s Wood Grilled will offer St. Patrick’s Day food and drink specials March 14–17, followed by basketball-themed promotions tied to the college tournament schedule from March 19 through April 6. Lenten seafood features will also be available through April 3.

For St. Patrick’s Day, the Wicker Park restaurant will serve Irish-inspired dishes including Loaded Potato Soup topped with smoked bacon, cheddar jack cheese, and green onions, and a Reuben Sandwich with corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and house sauce on marbled rye. Beverage specials include Guinness Irish Dry Stout drafts, green Miller and Coors drafts, and shots of Paddy’s Irish Whiskey and Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey. Specials will be available during regular business hours.

During the college basketball tournament, Mac’s will show games across 17 screens, with select matchups broadcast with sound. Drink promotions will be available on game days, including Miller and Coors pitchers, whiskey shots, vodka mules, Bloody Marys, and house vodka cocktails. Lenten menu features include Fish & Chips with beer-battered whitefish, fries, and house tartar sauce, and a Fried Fish Sandwich served on a brioche bun with lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles, and tartar sauce. These items will be available daily through Good Friday.
