Food Festival

Apple Fest will return to downtown Long Grove for its 33rd year from September 26 through 28. The annual event centers on the village’s historic covered bridge and features food, drinks, family activities, and live entertainment. Tickets are available now through their website.

Apple-inspired food and beverages will be available from dozens of vendors and local restaurants. Items include caramel apples, apple donuts, apple pie, cider, sangria, and apple wine. Village tasting rooms, taverns, and eateries will also participate with seasonal specials.

The festival offers a range of activities, including carnival rides and games, pie-eating and apple-bobbing contests, and a vendor marketplace with seasonal goods and specialty foods. Dogs are permitted at the event. A new feature for 2025 is the Giant Pumpkin Weight-Guessing Raffle. Visitors can scan a QR code next to a pumpkin donated by The Mulch Center to guess its weight. The closest entry will receive a $1,000 prize, split in case of ties. The official weigh-in will take place October 18 during October Days in downtown Long Grove.

Music and entertainment will run on three stages throughout the weekend. The Main Stage lineup includes Hi Infidelity, Rok Brigade, Daniel Cronson Band, and Rememories Band on Friday, September 26; 7th Heaven, Whatever Nevermind, Rearview, Santeria, Southwater, and the Battle of the Bands winner on Saturday, September 27; and American English, Chicken Dolphin Band, and one act to be announced on Sunday, September 28.
