LM Restaurant Group is brewing a new concept opening April 22, 2026 with Land & Lake Cafe.

Following the opening of 17 Plant Based in January, LM Restaurant is ready to explore coffee shop culture in Downtown Evanston. Land & Lake Cafe, situated at 1710 Orrington Ave, will serve signature coffee and tea drinks, breakfast and sandwiches from 6:30 am to 2 pm daily.

With its downtown Evanston location, proximity to Northwestern and convenient location in the Hilton Orrington, Land & Lake Cafe hopes to become a neighborhood staple of early Evanston mornings.

Land and Lake is a familiar brand of LM Restaurant Group, with their downtown Chicago and Rosemont locations being spots for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner, welcoming locals and visitors alike with Midwest hospitality. Land & Lake Cafe will echo the approachable energy of the Land & Lake restaurants LM diners are familiar with while focusing on crafting their coffee experiences.
