Starting Tuesday, December 15th,
Lillie’s Q will offer Prime Smoked Brisket and Prime Smoked Brisket
Sandwiches. This will be a first for executive chef Charlie McKenna as
Lillie’s Q has never had brisket on the menu. After a recent trip to
Texas, Charlie came back inspired and purchased a J&R Smoker for
Lillie’s Q. The prep is simple — Charlie uses Lillie’s Q “Q Rub” and
Black Pepper, before smoking the meat for 12-15 hours over night. The brisket will
be available every Tuesday, at the Bucktown location only, on a first-come, first-served basis.
