Boston-based hospitality group,PPX Hospitality Brands, has partnered with DoorDash in order to bring another iconic brand,Legal Sea Foods, to the people of Chicago for National Seafood Month. Operating out of the group’s long-standing America’s Steakhouse destination, Smith & Wollensky in Marina City, Legal Sea Foods offers a variety of signature menu items that are now available for delivery or pick up daily for lunch or dinner. Chicago residents, businesses, and visitors can order the Legal Sea Foods experience from their own homes or offices with dishes including their Half Pound Maine Lobster Roll, Baked Stuffed Lobster, New England Clam Chowder, Crab Cake Dinner, Fish & Chips, and more. Maine Lobster Roll and New England Crab Roll Kits are also available, each serving up to four people.
With over a decade of experience at the helm of Smith & Wollensky as the National Director of Culinary Development and then as Vice President of Culinary, Matt King now oversees both Smith & Wollensky and Legal Sea Foods as PPX’s Chief Culinary Officer.
“PPX Hospitality is proud to offer the freshest New England flavors of Legal Sea Foods to the people of Chicago, a community we’ve been so privileged to be a part of for many years with Smith & Wollensky in Marina City,” said Chief Marketing Officer Kim Giguere-Lapine.“We are dedicated to delivering the same standard of excellence with our virtual Legal Sea Foods kitchen as we have to our guests of Smith & Wollensky, and will ensure this by utilizing the same high-quality, local vendors and suppliers that we’ve been partnering with for years, all under the culinary leadership of Chef Matt.” The New England seafood can be ordered daily for lunch and dinner between 11:30 a.m. and up to 10 p.m. on the weekends.
