In anticipation of wintry weather coming to Chicago, Le Sud Mediterranean Kitchen will soon offer heated dining domes on their sidewalk cafe. The five private pods seat up to six people each, and feature such elements as an electric stove heating unit, farmhouse decor, and decorative lighting. The "glamping" dining experience will provide guests a safe space with plenty of warmth during the winter season.
Le Sud's new alfresco tents are available by reservation only starting October 21. Seatings are offered Wednesday through Saturday at 5 p.m., 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.; Sunday at 4:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Dining domes require a $200 minimum tab on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday and a $250 minimum tab on Friday and Saturday. There is a $25 per person reservation deposit (fully refundable if canceled 48 hours prior).
