Latin Restaurants Unite for Barrio BBQ: Fuegos y Amigos on September 21

Chef Geno Bahena of Manchamanteles hosts Barrio BBQ: Fuegos y Amigos on Sunday, September 21, in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. The one-night event transforms the Bucktown restaurant’s patio into a backyard-style cookout featuring tacos, seafood, and mole dishes, along with margaritas and a collaboration beer created with Marz Brewing.

The lineup includes Tacotlán, Taquería Chingón, 5 Rabanitos, Mariscos San Pedro, and Manchamanteles. Doors open at 4 p.m., with food served until the evening concludes. Drinks are available for purchase at the bar.

Partial proceeds from the event benefit Legal Aid Chicago, supporting its mission to provide free representation in civil legal matters for individuals unable to afford an attorney. Tickets are $50 and available through Tock in limited supply.
