Oaken Bistro + Bar, 200 N. Field Dr., has welcomed Chef Christian Alejandro to lead the team as their new Executive Chef. Chef Alejandro has had leadership roles over the last decade at restaurants including the Signature Room at the 95th, Niche Restaurant, Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago, The Mid-America Club and most recently as Executive Corporate Chef at Veritas Lux Mae.
“We could not be more excited to be welcoming Chef Alejandro to lead the incredible team here at Oaken,” said Dino Simoncelli, General Manager of The Forester Hotel. “Chef has an extremely impressive background and brings a standout technique to the table. We look forward to watching his passion translate to each and every plate for years to come.”
Oaken Bistro + Bar is open Monday - Friday for breakfast from 6:30 pm – 3:00 pm, lunch Monday - Friday from 11am – 3 pm and dinner daily from 3 p.m. - 10 p.m. Brunch is served on the weekends from 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. The lounge is open daily from 11 a.m. - 12 a.m.
