La Stanza Ristorante celebrates the holidays with a lavish spread inspired by Italian tradition. The festivities begin Friday, December 18 with a modern twist on the Feast of the Seven Fishes.

Chef Fred Ramos offers a seven-day feast that will showcase a different seafood dish for each day leading up to Christmas Eve. The menu is inspired by the Feast of the Seven Fishes, part of the Italian Christmas Eve tradition in which seven fish courses are served on Christmas Eve. The menu will be priced at market value and will feature:

Friday 12/18 - Branzino en Cartoccio, mussels, zucchini, squash, cherry tomatoes, lemon herb butter

Saturday 12/19 - Sautéed Halibut, butternut squash puree, broccoli rabe, pancetta, sage butter

Sunday 12/20 - Baked Lake Superior White Fish with shrimp, Toasted fregola, garlic spinach, scampi sauce

Monday 12/21 - Herb crusted Skate wing, toasted Orzo, zucchini, squash, and almond brown butter

Tuesday 12/22 -Fisherman's Stew, Monkfish, mussels, shrimp, calamari, octopus

Wednesday 12/23 - Pan Seared Rainbow Trout with sautéed scallops, garlic spinach, potatoes, lemon caper

Thursday 12/24, Christmas Eve - Baked Salmon over King Crab Black Truffle mashed potatoes

In place of the regular menu, a special Christmas Eve menu will be served including classic Italian holiday dishes. The a la carte menu will offer the following:

And for dessert, a complimentary assortment of Italian Christmas cookies will be available all day for children. Labriola Chicago and La Stanza Ristorante will have shortened hours on Christmas Eve, open from 7am - 8pm and will be closed Christmas day.
