Krispy Kreme’s Mini Doughnuts are the brand’s latest permanent menu item, launching January 6. Many diet plans include a “cheat day” and the new Original Glazed Mini Doughnuts are less than 100 calories each.

The new doughnuts are mini versions of four of Krispy Kreme’s doughnuts: Original Glazed, Chocolate Iced Glazed, Chocolate Iced with Sprinkles and Strawberry Iced with Sprinkles, available at Chicagoland shops located in Homewood at 17815 South Halsted Street, Evergreen Park at 9150 South Western Avenue, Hillside at 110 South Mannheim Road and Chicago in Block 37 at 108 North State Street.

“Instead of giving up on your New Year’s resolution, cheat a little with Krispy Kreme’s new Mini Doughnuts,” said Carlos Larcada, President of Chicagoland Restaurants, LLC. “Sometimes a mini indulgence of your favorite doughnut is all you need to stay on track this year!”

To help fuel the cheat and reward fans for sticking with their New Year’s resolutions, Krispy Kreme will host “Mini Mondays:” a mini “happy hour” from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. each Monday in January, where guests can visit Chicagoland Krispy Kreme shops and “cheat sweet” with a FREE Mini Doughnut of their choice, starting today.

These new doughnuts will be a permanent fixture at Chicagoland shops, joining Krispy Kreme’s other recent sweet expansions, such as Original Filled Doughnuts.
