KOVAL Distillery announces that it has begun collaborating with Intelligentsia to source the coffee for its KOVAL Coffee Liqueur

Made from all-natural, certified organic and kosher ingredients, the KOVAL Coffee Liqueur mixes Intelligentsia's La Perla de Oaxaca with a white whiskey base. 

"KOVAL has long had a preference for using coffee sourced from Mexico and Central America in our Coffee Liqueur," says KOVAL's Master Distiller Dr. Robert Birnecker, "as the flavor profiles typically lend themselves well in the rich yet bright spirit." 

According to Birnecker, "Attention to sustainable and ethical sourcing was of great importance when selecting a coffee partner for KOVAL." Intelligentsia's organic La Perla de Oaxaca coffee is single origin, harvested in season, and sourced with Direct Trade principles. 

To celebrate this release, KOVAL will be hosting an in-store launch event on Friday, February 1st at its flagship location (5121 N. Ravenswood Ave), featuring sample KOVAL Coffee Liqueur cocktails and special discounts throughout the store.
