Highlights: Kinton Ramen Introduces Chilled Ramen at Fulton Market
Kinton Ramen (163 N Sangamon St.) offers an option this summer with the launch of their newest menu item, Chilled Tsukemen. The cold ramen dish features a serving of thick noodles tossed with ground white sesame seeds and sesame oil. Two pieces of Kinton’s pork belly and shredded nori are placed on top of the cold noodles. A small bowl of chilled ramen sauce is served on the side, along with some condiments (grated daikon, wasabi, chopped scallions and a quail egg). To eat, add the egg and desired amount of daikon, scallions and wasabi to the dipping sauce and stir. Grab some noodles with chopsticks, dip into sauce, coating noodles thoroughly, and repeat until finished.
