Katherine Anne Confections Celebrates 20 Years this October

Katherine Anne Confections is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a month of deals and events! Stop into Katherine Anne Confections’ Irving Park location to enjoy deals, including 5 caramels for $1 and 20 treats for 20 years!

20th Anniversary Party Saturday, October 24, 4-10:00 p.m.

• Enjoy wine, savory treats, and tasting 20 different confections at Katherine Anne’s Irving Park location.  Smoque BBQ will be roasting porchetta out back at the Irving Park shop, paired with a special beer from Begyle Brewing (NA cocktail will also be available), housemade sides and a firepit for making S’mores!  At 8 p.m., join for cake prepared by Katherine Anne Confections’ pastry team. Kids are welcome from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Face painting, balloon animals, and more! Tickets are available on their website for $50/person.

DESIGN A TRUFFLE: 

• Katherine Anne Confections is launching a 20-year collection that will include best-selling sweets, past seasonal favorites, new chef collaboration truffles, and a single confection designed by fans!

ANNIVERSARY MONTH DEALS:

• October 8 (Logan Square), 6-7:30 p.m.: Woman-owned Conexion Chocolate from Ecuador will be leading a tasting of single-origin chocolates, all made from single-estate cacao from specific regions in Ecuador. Learn about the origins of sustainable cacao as the founder and chocolate makers guide you through a tasting that includes cocoa nibs, beans, 100% unsweetened chocolate, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, and white chocolate. Experience cocoa in all its forms. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased on the Katherine Anne Confections website.
• October 16 (Begyle Brewing, 1800 W Culyer, Chicago) 5-8 p.m.: Beer launch at Begyle! Come try the beer they’ve designed with Begyle Brewing at their taproom. They’ll also be toasting s’mores on site!
• October 17 (Logan Square), 12-3 p.m.: Drinking chocolate bar! Get a complimentary tasting pour of Katherine Anne Confections' drinking chocolate, top it with mini marshmallows & toppings.
• October 25 (Logan Square), 12-4 p.m.: Complimentary s’more toasting at the Logan Square shop.

ANNIVERSARY WEEK: 

• October 19-25, they’ll be offering some Anniversary specials including:
  • Roll-back caramel pricing, 5 caramels for $1 - this is how Katherine first started selling her caramels (at the age of 12) at her dad’s work
  • Spin the wheel at Irving, win prizes like free truffles, caramels, and t-shirts.
