Context and background: Jalapeno Opens in The Cafeteria
The Cafeteria (840 N Orleans St.) in River North has added a sixth concept to the food hall. Jalapeno offers tacos ($4 or 3 for $10), burritos ($9) and burrito bowls ($12) with options like cilantro lime rice, cauliflower rice, adobo chicken and steak, and an array of fresh toppings.
The Cafeteria:
Includes six menus: Mediterranean bowls, wraps and pockets with the flavors of the Middle East (Chickpea); homemade soups and salads with clean, house-made dressings (Like Salads); refreshing açaí bowls and smoothies (Blended); hearty ramen bowls (Cup-of-Noodle), shakes (Sweet Cream) and now customizable Mexican fare (Jalapeno).
Just-ripe fruits and vegetables are delivered daily.
Dietary preferences accomodated: vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, keto, and paleo-friendly
Delivers through GrubHub, Uber Eats, DoorDash, Postmates, Caviar and Ritual.
