Jake Melnick’s Corner Tap, the beer focused restaurant and bar in Chicago’s Gold Coast has announced a partnership with local brewery Penrose Brewing, as the two collaborate to craft an exclusive wheat pale ale. Patio Crusher will be tapped for the first time ever on Thursday, May 12 at 6 p.m. at Jake Melnick’s.

To be among the first ever to try the limited edition beer, guests can imbibe on the Patio Crusher for $6 per pint. Penrose Founder Eric Hobbs and Head Brewer Tom Korder will be in attendance to celebrate the launch. Attendees who purchase the Patio Crusher that evening will receive raffle tickets with the chance to win a free tour for two people at the Penrose Brewing facility in Geneva, a $50 Jake Melnick’s gift card, or a custom-made t-shirt featuring the collaboration beer.
