Steakhouse Streeterville

Adrian Corkill has joined the culinary and management team at III Forks Prime Steakhouse in Lakeshore East as Executive Chef/Proprietor. Corkill worked his way up through different hospitality channels, from a young dishwasher at the age of 16 to executive chef roles at restaurants. 

A native of Denver, Colorado, Adrian Corkill's first position in the back of the house was at a small airport hotel. His passion for the business was born, so he joined the line at Macaroni Grill, learned about food and flavors, and was quickly promoted to Sous Chef. Corkill then expanded his experience in the kitchens of Brooks Steakhouse (Englewood, Colorado) and Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse (Denver, Colorado). From there, an opportunity arose for Adrian Corkill to lead the culinary team at Cool River Cafe, located in Austin, Texas. He eagerly accepted that position and served as Executive Chef for many years, followed by an Executive Chef role at Zed's, also in Austin.

Corkill was contacted by Consolidated Restaurant Operations in 2012 to lead the kitchen at III Forks in Austin, Texas, then moved within the company to become Executive Chef/Proprietor of III Forks in Houston, Texas. In Houston, Corkill truly developed his preferred role of a face-forward, table-touching chef and manager. He thrives on interacting with restaurant guests, while also keeping a close eye on the quality coming from his kitchen. 

Corkill, an avid fisherman, is excited to be in Chicago and is already scoping out waterways for local fishing excursions. He plans to make some menu changes at III Forks, expanding the "bar bites" offerings, as well as adding new "local favorites" and side dishes - perfect to pair with the incredible quality of III Forks' USDA prime steaks (certified Angus beef prime 42 day dry age; Durham Ranch Wagyu by the Strube family).
