I|O Godfrey Hosts Sixth-Annual Kentucky Derby Party

On May 4th, I|O Godfrey, the lounge at The Godfrey Hotel Chicago, brings the Kentucky Derby to Chicago with its sixth annual Derby Day viewing event. Guests can cheer on the horse race on a plethora of TVs and video wall. Partygoers will be offered southern-inspired food and drink, including a carving station and a frozen twist on a classic mint julep, the Derby Ice. Guests can have their bottle of Maker’s Mark custom-engraved on-site and enjoy a live mint wall where Derby fans can collect fresh mint for garnishing cocktails. Guests are encouraged to showcase their best Derby look for the event, as there will be prizes for “Best Hat” and “Best Dressed.”
