This Veterans Day, Chicagoland restaurants are offering specials in effort to support and recognize the brave men and women who have served and are currently serving in the United States Armed Forces. On Saturday, November 11, military veterans will enjoy freebies and deep discounts on meals around the city and in the suburbs. Check out our list below some of these specials and for military personnel visiting these locations, be prepared to show proof of U.S. military ID.

This offer can be redeemed by all active-duty, reserve, national guard, retired, veteran, or any other person with proof of military service.

MAK, the modern asian spot in Wicker Park will cover half the cost for vets on November 11. From 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., veterans can enjoy wings, soups, salads, bowls, and more with a 50-percent off discount. This offer is dine-in only and can be redeemed by any veteran or active military personnel.

20-percent off for vets at Roanoke Restaurant

Roanoke Restaurant 

To honor military service, Roanoke Restaurant, centrally located in Chicago's Loop, will offer 20-percent off to all active, former, or retired military personnel. Roanoke offers a wide range of menu items such as pizzas, salads, steak, rotisserie meats, seafood and more along with a craft cocktail menu, wine and seasonal brews.

Whether you are in Chicago or closer to the suburbs of Wheeling or Oak Brook, Tuscany Restaurants are praising active military personnel and veterans with a FREE entree up to $40. Tuscany Restaurants, owned by famed restaurateur Phil Stefani, offer an Italian cuisine and are open on November 11 in Chicago at 4 p.m. and in the suburbs from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m. This offer is dine-in only and reservations are recommended.
