Big Game American Italian Bridgeport

The White Sox clinched their division, and Fabulous Freddies, who are lifelong Sox fans, are evidently thrilled.  The daughters of Bridgeport, owners and operators of Fabulous Freddies, decided to reach out to a Houston Astros sports bar to challenge them to a bet.  Voted #1 Sports Bar in Houston, Pitch 25 was the partner for such a bet.  The Freddies girls called them up, and a challenge was born…

Pitch 25, Voted Houston's #1 Sports Bar, Bets Against Chicago Favorite Fabulous Freddies

THE BET Who Will Win! Fabulous Freddies, a Chicago southside restaurant, located a few blocks from Guaranteed Rate Field and home to the Chicago White Sox and Pitch 25, recently voted Houston’s #1 Sports Bar, located a few blocks from Minute Made Park and home to the Houston Astros have challenged each other to a friendly playoff bet.  They’re wagering food, drink, swag and pride for bragging rights and an opportunity to win a complimentary fan party at the opposing team’s home restaurant.  The American League Division Series starts October 7th, and the winner of best out of five for the series will win the bet.

THE WAGER Fabulous Freddies and Pitch 25 are wagering a fan party for 25 of their team’s baseball fans at the losing team’s home restaurant.  If the White Sox are victorious, Pitch 25 will host 25 Houston-based White Sox fans, and if the Astros prevail Fabulous Freddies will host a party for 25 Chicagoland-based Astros fans for an upcoming playoff game.  Restaurant management of the losing team must wear the winning team’s swag the night of the event, so the winning fans can partake in some good old-fashioned gloating while dining on food and drink on the losing restaurant’s dime.

THE WINNERS If you are an Astro’s fan located in Chicago, please email Brittany@freddieson31st.com  to be chosen for the fan party at Fabulous Freddies.  If you are a Sox fan located in Houston, please follow Pitch 25 on Instagram @Pitch25htx to be invited to the fan party at Pitch 25.  Please include your name, email, and phone number in the correspondence.
