HopCat – Chicago is raising a pint glass to commemorate National IPA Day Thursday, August 2. Offering a special $2 discount on all IPA beers for craft beer lovers, HopCat – Chicago invites guests to grab a beer, enjoy their crack fries and clink their glasses with community members on the special beer holiday.
“National IPA Day is fun way for beer lovers to celebrate a hoppy, delicious style of beer and enjoy a great evening with friends,” HopCat – Chicago General Manager Koni Crossan said. “We hope to bring more attention to National IPA Day to honor the incredible Chicago breweries and craft beer culture worldwide. Chicago is a huge craft beer city, and we’re proud to be the top beer destination with our impressive selection of local and international brews.”
August 2 is more than just National IPA Day for HopCat – Chicago. The restaurant and beer house will introduce its newest arcade game, Cosmotrons, the first of its kind in Illinois. Designed and built in Wisconsin, Cosmotrons allows up to four players to experience retro gaming combined with modern technology for a simultaneous spaceship battle. The company’s owner will be on site to teach guests about the game and to give away vintage arcade memorabilia. This game will be added to HopCat – Chicago’s gaming area, which includes Bubble Hockey, Shuffleboard, and Foosball. These games are all available for free play on August 2.
