The Dark Horse Tap & Grille gets in the holiday spirit with a festive limited beer night. The lineup lists 2015 Founders KBS, which is brewed with coffee and chocolate and cave-aged in oak bourbon barrels for 12 months; 2014 Goose Island Bourbon County Stout, a dark and dense stout with an intense nose of charred oak, chocolate, vanilla, caramel and smoke; and 3 Floyds Zombie Dust, a huge hopped pale ale brewed with Citra hops. Additionally, the tap features 22-ounce bombers of 3 Floyds Alpha Klaus, a big seasonal Christmas porter brewed with English chocolate malt, Mexican sugar and American hops.
There is no cover charge to attend and the beers range from $7-$15 each. Food specials include a Paulina Meat Market Turducken Bratwurst topped with savory stuffing, gravy and cranberry sauce ($12). The tap is open from 5 p.m.-2 a.m. on Friday, December 16 and the kitchen is open until 11 p.m.
