History Happy Hour at InterContinental Chicago

InterContinental Chicago Magnificent Mile announces dates for summer History Happy Hour installments, honoring Chicago by hosting a tour combining history, wine, and live music. History Happy Hour takes place on the last Wednesday of every month, and tickets are available now for Wednesday, June 27, Wednesday, July 25, Wednesday, August 29, and Wednesday, September 26. 

Each tour begins in the hotel’s Hall of Lions with a sommelier-hosted tasting featuring wine, cheese and chocolate from ENO Wine Bar. Hillary Marzec, an expert guide and founder of Inside Chicago Walking Tours, leads guests on a tour of InterContinental Chicago’s historic tower, highlighting the hidden secrets, famous guests, and historical and architectural features. History buffs are invited to end the night swinging and sipping back at ENO, with live jazz and swing music provided by one of the hotel’s local famed trios, as well as a complimentary glass of wine.

The hotel serves as a backdrop for a night of exploring history mixed with entertainment. Tickets are $48 and can be purchased here. The ticket includes a wine, cheese and chocolate tasting from ENO, live music, and a tour of the property.
