The popular Midwest Bistro + Live Music Venue, Hey Nonny, is paying tribute to the holiday classic, “A Christmas Story” with over-the-top vintage décor, like the famous leg lamp and flag pole, and movie-inspired food and drink. The downtown Arlington Heights hotspot will play the movie regularly throughout the event going on now until New Year’s Eve.

Chef Tony Hernandez has put together a “A Christmas Story” menu including: Doggone Turkey bacon-wrapped stuffed turkey breast Meatloaf Smeetloaf meatloaf in red sauce with mashed potatoes and green beans Fa-La-La-La-La Fried Rice in a pagoda box with chopsticks Earful of Lobster lobster bisque Holiday Pot de Creme very chocolate pudding

Along with movie-themed cocktails: Triple Dog Dare bourbon, Rumchata and eggnog Ovaltine Hot vanilla vodka, Creme de Menthe and hot cocoa Electric Sex spiced rum, apple cider, and pear nectar Eyeball Shot Fireball whiskey

Holiday enthusiasts can visit the “A Christmas Story” pop-up at Hey Nonny during dinner and weekend brunch. Reservations for large groups are recommended.

The “A Christmas Story” Pop-up runs now through December 30. Hours include Tues-Thurs 4:30-11 p.m., Fri 4:30 p.m.-12 a.m., Sat 10 a.m.-12 a.m., and Sun 10 a.m.-3 p.m
