Catch the fireworks from the comfort of the outdoor patio at picturesque Oak Brook The Hyatt Lodge Oak Brook on July 3rd. Experience their special fireworks package with a vantage point from the stunning, spacious patio at the Hearth Lounge, or for a VIP event in the Q Room. From 7-10 pm, enjoy an outdoor lakeside table to catch the fireworks with a package to include access to a special menu including Carne Asada and Pork Carnitas Tacos, Fajitas and more. Beer buckets will be available for $15 and a DJ will be spinning throughout the evening. A $50 minimum per guest and reservation are required to attend. Amerikas Nuevo Latino

Amerikas Nuevo Latino restaurant, in Oak Park, is inviting guests to Fiesta Amerikas style on Sunday, July 2nd, providing the flavors of Amerikas with small complimentary bites, by Chef Armando Gonzalez. Specialty craft cocktails will be available. Learn to salsa dance, and bring your new skills onto the dance floor as you dance the night away to a live DJ. Cash bar only, and salsa dance lessons will be provided by La Mecca Chicago. There is no admission to the event, which takes place from 5:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.

Recess

Recess is packing their patio with Afro House DJs, lots of inflatable animals, summer cocktails, punch bowls and more for their pre-Fourth of July party. 

Recess is bringing South African artist, Gareth Devore, to guide guests on an adventure through the African savannah with his Afro House beats. DJs will evoke a safari through music, dance, performances, themed drinks and inflatable animals. Tickets range from $10-150 and are available via Eventbrite. Guests are encouraged to dress in their most safari-fitting and animal printed outfits.

Kicking off the 4th of July weekend and running the month of July, Jaleo by José Andrés debuts their Summer of Sangria featuring special sangrias by the glass, pitchers, and a Sangria + a tasting of 3 tapas offering for $22. Seasonal sangrias include the Sangría de sandia with Cava, gin, vermouth, watermelon, and citrus, and a new Sangría de naranja made with Albariño, gin, licor 43, seasonal fruit, and fresh orange juice.

Offshore Rooftop is offering a number of special menu items during the Fourth. From July 1 through July 4, in addition to their restaurant menu, they will be celebrating the big races and 4th of July all weekend long with a BBQ-style cookout, including a build-your-own hot dog bar complete with sauerkraut, caramelized onions, and spicy mustard, and various Jell-O Shot varieties to enjoy with friends. 

Lírica

To start off the weekend of celebrating, Lírica will be hosting an evening of live music, Flamenco dancing, and a fireworks finale under the stars. On June 28, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Lírica will transform into a haven of rhythm, passion, and cultural celebration. The Signature Room

The Signature Room, 875 N. Michigan Avenue, to celebrate Independence Day with the array of fireworks shows across the Chicago skyline, including Navy Pier’s main fireworks show over Lake Michigan at Navy Pier on Saturday, July 1 at 10 p.m. and western views from the The Lounge that stretch for miles.

Bandit

Bandit is hosting a Nascar Pop Up to honor the race coming to Chicago with a nod to the cult classic movie. On Saturday, July 1st and Sunday - July 2nd staff will be dressed up for the Talladega Nightlife theme + DJ + bottle service on Bandit on Two. Food and drink specials include:

  • Themed jello shots
  • Jungle Juice served in Nascar Themed Cooler (large format cocktail, great for groups!)

Wicker Park’s Ina Mae Tavern on Tuesday, July 4th from 11am - 5pm for their “Red, White, Blues & Booze” event is celebrating Independence Day. Ina Mae’s NOLA-inspired cuisine and live music from 1 - 4pm. Offerings include $39 plates featuring boiled shrimp, corn and potatoes in addition to $10 boozy frozen cocktails. The Drake Oak Brook

Independence Day festivities start early at The Drake Oak Brook with special buffet and front row seats to the Oak Brook Fireworks display on July 3rd. On the 10-acre manicured lawns, visitors can choose from ribs and burgers to apple pie, dance to the live DJ, play rounds of corn hole and other lawn games, and an old-fashioned ice cream social. The price is $75/adults $35/kids 6-12 $20/kids 3-5.

All Too Well

A “Park Pack” from All Too Well in Lincoln Park. Available daily, the Park Packs will range from $12 to $18 each and include charcuterie, cheese, a pickled item, fruit, crackers, and olives. 

aliveOne

aliveOne on Tuesday, July 4 will open late at 8 p.m. for Fourth of July specials like $6 Eve of the Destruction cocktails (regularly $11) with Bulleit Bourbon, Campari, Carpano Antica, and an orange swath. Other specials will include $4 Old Style, $5 shots of Evan Williams and $4 drafts.

B.A.S.H.

B.A.S.H. Burger and Sushi House in Geneva will offer all day specials on Sunday, July 2 including $5 draft beers, $7 frozen drinks and $8 B.A.S.H. burgers (bacon, American cheese, spicy mayo, hash brown; normally $12). Weather permitting, guests can select their food and drink al fresco on the shaded patio area with seating for 96 guests. Six outdoor seats pull up to an indoor sushi bar and several garage doors that open to the outside.

Central Park Bar

On Tuesday, July 4 beginning at 8 p.m., guests can select $4 High Life and $4 Coors Light in the 3,500 square foot Backyard Bar complete with covered outdoor bar, bumper pool table, picnic tables, porch swings and fire pit. 

Cody's Public House

Cody’s Public House can be a pre or post game stop for the Cubs vs Guardians games over Fourth of July weekend. Cody’s game day specials will include $4 Old Style tall boy cans, $6 Spiteful Brewing Bleacher Bum Blonde and $6 Cubby Bombs. Additional specials for the holiday will include $25 High Noon buckets, $5 Careno Tequila shots and $7 Housemade Margaritas. 

Guests are invited to “Bring Your Own Meat” (BYOM) and use the grill in Cody’s beer garden.

Easy Bar

Easy Bar will open at  5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4. Drink specials will include $8 Hibiscus Mezcal Margaritas along with regular Tuesday specials like half-price happy hour from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., $4 Beers (all beers, draft, bottle, and can, & hard seltzer), and $9 beer and shot combos. Guests can choose drinks on Easy Bar’s dog-friendly sidewalk patio with seating for 15 to 20 guests. 

Estelle's

On the Fourth of July weekend, Estelle’s will open at 10 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4. Guests can choose post barbecue specials like $6 Fireball and discounted Dutchbag draft beers all night. 

Evette's All Day

Near the corner of Sheffield Ave and Diversey Pkwy, the restaurant offers a sidewalk patio with seating for about 20 to 25 guests. Evette’s All Day melds the Mediterranean flavors of Lebanon with Mexico’s culinary traditions with Chef Mitchell Jamra’s Midwestern roots. Breakfast is served everyday until 2 p.m. and includes items like tacos, a variety of hash dishes and chilaquiles with a pita or tortilla option.

H&C Pour House

H&C Pour House, the neighborhood gastropub in Lincoln Park, will offer a holiday weekend Happy Hour on Friday, June 30 and Saturday, July 1 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Happy hour specials include $6 house mules, $7 well cocktails, $6 teeny martinis, $5 select drafts, $3 Malort, $4 Jameson, and $5 house made apple pie shots. A selection of bar bites are also included in happy hour like $5 fries, $6 curds and $7 mac & cheese.

Oda Mediterranean Cuisine

At Oda Mediterranean in Andersonville on Tuesday, July 4, half-off bottles of wine all evening. Weather permitting, guests can order their wine on Oda’s dog-friendly sidewalk patio. 

Remedy

Remedy will open at 10 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4. Patrons can keep the party going until 4 a.m. with a $6 Fireball special all evening plus new summer cocktails like the Al Pastor with Kurvball Barbeque Whiskey, Nixta Elote Liqueur, pineapple, lime ($13) and the Carranza with Ojo De Tigre Mezcal, Cocchi Americano, Lillet, Creme de Violette, and lemon ($12).

Sweet Mandy B's

Sweet Mandy B’s in Lincoln Park and Streeterville will offer festive treats available from Friday, June 30 through Tuesday, July 4. Guests will enjoy items like Chocolate Iced Brownies (Lincoln Park only), Confetti Cookies, Sweetie Pie Cookies , Iced Sugar Cookies, Confetti Rice Krispies, Yellow and Chocolate Cake Cupcakes with vanilla frosting, and a 6" three layer Red, White and Blue Watercolor Vanilla Cake (feeds 8-12 guests).

The Owl

Guests looking for a late-night Fourth of July party can head to The Owl in Logan Square which will open late at 10 p.m. Open until 4 a.m., guests can select $4 draft beers and The Owl’s signature house cocktail, Summer Breeze, for only $10 (regularly $14). The seasonal drink features Citadelle Jardin d’Été, blood orange, black currant, lemon, and sugar. 

The Rambler Kitchen & Tap

The Rambler in North Center will offer free music trivia at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 29 hosted by Whaddayaknow. 

The Rambler will also host brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. featuring $20 bottomless mimosas and $35 mimosa buckets. Brunch options include the scratch-made Country Biscuit topped country fried steak, sausage gravy, and an egg ($13), pound cake Turtle French Toast, stuffed then topped with rich chocolate, caramel, chocolate chips, crushed pecans and fresh whipped cream ($13), and The Rambler Scrambler with three scrambled eggs, red and green peppers, mushrooms, onions, ham, bacon, sausage, and cheddar, served with a mountain of seasoned breakfast potatoes ($12).

Yardbird Chicago will feature the following specials for 4th of July:

Taste of Oak Brook

The Village of Oak Brook will hold its annual Taste of Oak Brook event on July 3rd. In partnership with Duff Entertainment, this year’s event will feature new private cabanas, a new beer garden, a 20+-minute fireworks show, and live music, including the 80’s pop band experience, Sixteen Candles.

The annual event, taking place at the Village Sports Core Fields (700 Oak Brook Road), will feature several food vendors, kids activities, main stage music and more. The fireworks show will start at dusk (around 9:30 p.m.) and last about 25-minutes long.

The Taste of Oak Brook is offering private cabanas that host up to 50 people each. The cabanas include catering from Maggiano’s Little Italy, as well as complimentary beverage service (served from 5pm to 10pm), exclusive main-stage and fireworks viewing areas, in addition to access to a private set of restrooms and complimentary parking. 

The Taste of Oak Brook remains a free event for all attendees.
