This week, Chef Giuseppe Tentori, in partnership with Boka Restaurant Group, has opened GT Prime, a modern steakhouse in River North. GT Prime is located at 707 N. Wells, just a few of blocks away from Tentori’s seafood restaurant, GT Fish & Oyster.
“I wanted to create a steakhouse that reflects the way that I like to eat meat” - Tentori
The steakhouse focuses on a variety of 4 ounce and 8 ounce cuts of Filet, Rib Eye, Wagyu, Skirt Steak, Venison, and Bison, sliced for guests – making steak easy to share, as well as mix and match. Carnivore Platter will include all six cuts of meat in 4 ounce portions. The menu will also include unique meats, such as Veal Cheek with lemon grits, escarole, and miso; Aged Duck Breast with pomme pureé, petite vegetable ragout, and duck jus; Stuffed Quail Pot Pie with seared cipollini, marble potatoes, and fresh herbs; Venison with cauliflower, truffle, and brioche sauce; and Gnocchi Genovese with sweetbread croutons, haricot verts and basil pesto.

The restaurant will offer at least 30 wines by the glass, representing a myriad of styles from all over the world, available in 3 ounce and 6 ounce pours.
While the list focuses on red wine, as befitting the meat focus of the food menu, there are also many options for those who prefer white.
Never miss an eat.
