Cactus Bar and Grill will pay homage to National Root Beer Float Day (August 6) with "grown up" versions of the sweet treat. Featuring Small Town Brewery's Not Your Father's Root Beer (5% ABV) and vanilla ice cream, restaurant guests may cool off with a boozy drink for $7.
Cactus is located in the Financial District and will be open on August 6 from 11 a.m.-midnight. Chef Glenn Pistorio's full dining menu will be offered in addition to Thursday's features: $5 select craft brews; $5 house margaritas; $5 sangria; and $5 Fireball shots.
