GreenRiver is launching weekend brunch service beginning on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 8 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Open for the first time on Sundays, GreenRiver will feature an a la carte brunch menu of American dishes from Executive Chef Aaron Lirette and new brunch cocktails from Head Bartender Julia Momose, perfect for enjoying al fresco on GreenRiver’s rooftop terrace.

The brunch menu stays true to the bar and restaurant’s seasonally-driven philosophy and includes signature GreenRiver items such as Whitefish Tartine with egg, radish and celery ($13); in addition to new item like Eggs Benedict with crab, country ham, and asparagus ($24); Cheddar Biscuits with sausage gravy and fried chicken thigh ($19); and a daily Seasonal Omelet ($16) and French Toast ($17).

Additionally, new cocktails created by Head Bartender Julia Momose will be available with brunch, such as the Geshi Gin & Tonic with Terroir Gin, sake, saffron & orange bitters, and tonic; Summer Vodka Soda with Bison Grass Vodka, Chareau Aloe Liqueur, lime, grapefruit and dandelion & burdock bitters; and Rhum & Coke with dark rhum, Fernet, lime, and cane cola. Refreshing warm weather sips for daytime indulging also include the Seven Year’s War with Aquavit and GreenRiver’s housemade bloody mary mix; Sorolla’s Bellini with Orchard Peach, Manzanilla Sherry, grapefruit and cava; and Coffee & Tonic with Cappellano Barolo Chinato, amaro, barley & espresso liqueur, and tonic.

GreenRiver’s weekend brunch is served on Sundays (beginning Sunday, May 8) from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. and Saturdays (beginning Saturday, May 14) from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Restaurant reservations can be made by calling 312.337.0101. Brunch is available on the outdoor terrace, but seating is prioritized on a first come, first serve basis.
