Chef Gordon Ramsay’s first Chicago restaurant, Gordon Ramsay Burger, has officially opened its doors in River North, located at the corner of State and Ontario. The full-service restaurant serves the chef’s signature burgers basted with butter along with fries, scratch-made sauces, and hand-spun milkshakes. The Hell’s Kitchen Burger, named after the chef’s signature television show that recently celebrated its 20th season, is topped with asadero cheese, roasted jalapeños, avocado, roasted tomatoes and jalapeño aioli.

“I’m so excited about the opening of Gordon Ramsay Burger. As a huge fan of Chicago and its food scene, it’s an honor to now have a restaurant in this amazing city. We can’t wait to serve Chicago residents our signature burger and some really delicious variations,” said Ramsay.

The restaurant’s interior is a re-interpretation of brick and beam loft design, bringing rustic warmth and a welcoming vibe through its various design elements. The over 5,000 square-foot restaurant includes an island bar and seating for 120, including bench style booths and chairs.

“We are thrilled for Gordon Ramsay Burger to join the exceptional culinary community of acclaimed restaurants that make Chicago one of the most dynamic dining destinations in the country,” said Norman Abdallah, CEO of Gordon Ramsay North America. “We look forward to continuing to expand our footprint in Chicago and in other beloved foodie cities across the US.”

During grand opening previews, the restaurant collected funds that will be donated to national charity partners, Make-A-Wish® and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®.

Gordon Ramsay Burger is open for lunch and dinner Monday through Thursday from 11:00am to 10:00pm, Friday through Saturday from 11:00am to 11:00pm and Sunday from 11:00am to 9:00pm. While the restaurant is not currently accepting reservations, reservations will be available soon at Gordonramsayburger.com.
