GoodLife Brewing Tapping at Tuman’s Tap & Grill July 26

GoodLife Brewing is new to Chicagoland and Tuman’s is one of the first bars to tap Descender IPA, Sweet As! Pacific Ale and Comatose Imperial IPA. Tapping at 4 p.m. - meet the GoodLife crew 7-9 p.m. No cover charge; beers range from $6-$7 each. The bar is open from 4 p.m.-2 a.m.; beers available while supplies last.

FEATURED BEERS

Descender, IPA, 7.0% ABV

Pine and creamy citrus notes dominate the nose and combine well with subtle tropical and peach notes. A light-bodied mouthfeel and playful bitterness allow bright citrus flavors to shine through. Classic Northwest-style India Pale Ale with slight back-end bitterness. This beer won gold in the 2017 Tastings World Beer Championships and silver at the 2017 U.S. Open Beer Championship.

Sweet As!, Pacific Ale, 6.0% ABV

This American-style wheat beer has a bright golden color and a bright white head. Pineapple, cream, and other soft tropical aromas dominate the nose. Southern hemisphere hops paired with white wheat make this a light and very drinkable wheat pale. This beer took home the gold medal at the 2017 Great American Beer Festival.

Comatose, Imperial IPA, 8.5% ABV

A blend of bright fruit and melon with big notes of Meyer lemon on the nose. Medium levels of bitterness along with heat from the higher alcohol content. A very easy drinking Imperial India Pale Ale. Awarded the gold medal at the 2017 Tastings World Beer Championships.
