Roka Akor Oak Brook and Glenlivet Scotch are hosting a special dinner on Thursday, May 2nd at 6:30PM with Glenlivet specialist Louie Boulahanis on-site to coach the tasting.

The dinner will feature crafted cocktails and pours paired with a meal designed to compliment each course. The courses include:

Course 1:

Escolar Tataki with Yuzu Shallot Dressing and Wasabi Pea

Kusshi Oyster Sampler with Ponzu and Lime

Pairing: Sparkling Rose provided by Southern

Course 2: 

American Wagyu Beef Carpaccio with Yuzu Olive Oil, Capers and Mizuna

Pairing: Glenlivet Founder's Reserve Mule

Course 3:

Yuzu Miso Black Cod with Pickled Red Onion

Shishito Peppers with Ponzu and Bonito Flakes

Pairing: Sword and the Samurai made with Glenlivet 12 yr

Course 4: 

Prime Ribeye with Wafu Dressing and Shredded Root Veggies

Yukon Mashed Potatoes

Pairing: Cabernet aged in Scotch Barrel


Warm Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream

Pairing: Glenlivet 18 yr
