Special Events Wine Fondue Lincoln Park

When: Monday, April 13th

Where: Geja's Cafe (340 W Armitage Ave)

Geja's Cafe invites guests to enjoy a lavish four-course dinner paired with world-class wines from the Fess Parker Winery on Monday, April 13th at 6:30 pm. The Fess Parker Winemaker Dinner, part of Geja's Café's ongoing popular Winemaker Dinner series, will feature wine of the highest quality made from estate grown grapes and the best vineyards in the Santa Ynez Valley. A representative from Fess Parker Winery will engage guests in a lively discussion of the evening's wines.

Fess Parker's portrayal of the frontiersmen Davy Crockett and Daniel Boone during the 1950's and 1960's garnered him a legion of adoring fans spanning many generations. It might well be said that Fess's similarity to those straight talking, hardworking country gentlemen is what endeared him to millions and helped him achieve success in the business world when he made the decision to walk away from Hollywood in the early 1970's. Parker's next business adventure took him inland to the Santa Ynez Valley to follow the lure of the county's promise as an exceptional wine region. The Fess Parker Winery is still family owned and operated and celebrated its 25th Anniversary in 2014.

The evening begins with a 6:30 reception featuring the 2012 Parker Family White followed by dinner at 7:00pm. The four-course dinner features Geja's house salad, Cheese Fondue paired with 2012 Fess Parker Riesling, Beef Tenderloin, Chicken Breast & Jumbo Shrimp Entrée paired with the 2011 Frontier Red Blend, and Flaming Chocolate Fondue paired with non-vintage Parker Port Style Red. Cost for each dinner is $55 per person, which includes the wines, dinner, tax, and gratuity. Reservations are required for the dinners, and interested parties are encouraged to act quickly as the popular Winemaker Dinners tend to sell out.For information, please call 773.281.9101, or visit Geja's on-line at www.gejascafe.com.
