Geja's Cafe is celebrating 55 years in business and to honor this milestone they will be launching two challenges open to the public now through May 15: the #mygejasmemory social media challenge and the cheese fondue and dipping sauce recipe submission competition. Geja’s will be offering special prizes for the winner of each competition including dinner experiences and the chance to see recipes come to life on the Geja’s menu for a limited time.

Over the years, Geja’s has played host to 147,917 first dates and 16,839 engagements over 1,409,274 bottles of wine and 451 tons of Gruyere cheeses. Customers are now invited to share an Instagram post highlighting their most heartfelt Geja’s memory, tagging the restaurant (@gejas_cafe) and using the hashtag #mygejasmemory for the chance to win. One lucky winner will receive a complimentary Geja’s dinner experience for two so that they may relive their special memory. 

Fondue aficionados are also invited to try their hand at creating their own original cheese fondue or dipping sauce recipe to win a Geja’s dinner for four and the chance to have their creation featured on the Geja’s menu for a limited time. Geja’s cheese fondue is served alongside grapes, bread and vegetables and should pair accordingly. As for the dipping sauces, participants should aim for their creation to pair seamlessly with the other various sauces meats, seafoods and vegetables served during the entrée portion of the meal. Recipe submissions should be directed to adam@gejascafe.com for consideration and should include information as to why the creation makes for the perfect pairing. 

Geja’s is currently offering their cheese and chocolate fondues, as well as a wine selection, available for contactless curbside pickup or delivery via Grubhub. 

Both competitions will run through May 15, 2020.
