Geja's Cafe is collaborating with Cultivar Wine for a winemaker dinner on Monday, May 6th, 2019. Throughout the evening, guests will have the opportunity to feast on an International Fondue dinner while sipping on wines from Cultivar Wine in Napa Valley. The night will begin with a reception at 6:30pm, followed by dinner at 7:00pm.

“Our winemaker dinners are truly unique events that are carefully catered to provide the ultimate dining experience. We are thrilled to showcase the exquisite Cultivar Wines to match our decadent dinner pairings and look forward to having guests indulge without having to buy a plane ticket to the West Coast,” says Jeff Lawler, Geja’s Café Proprietor.  

The dinner will comprise of four courses. Guests will start with a sGeja’s house salad before diving into Geja’s traditional cheese fondue with grapes, apples and a variety of baked breads. The main course will highlight Geja’s International Premier fondue, which features a variety of eats including beef tenderloin, jumbo shrimp and chicken breast, all served with a mountain of fresh vegetables and eight homemade dipping sauces. Finally, dinner guests will end the meal with a flaming chocolate fondue featuring strawberries, apples, banana, pineapple, cherries, pound cake, graham cracker crumbs, rice krispy treats and marshmallows for roasting. The cost of the evening is $70 per person.

Wine at the event will feature an assortment of selections from Cultivar Winery in Napa Valley. Napa Valley has sixteen sub-appellations (regions) stretching from Carneros in the South to Calistoga to the North. Guests will have the opportunity to choose from options including a Napa Sauvignon Blanc, Oakville Chardonnay, Oak Knoll Cabernet, Franc and North Coast Cabernet Sauvignon.
