Context and background: Fuller House Restaurant is Now Open in Hinsdale
Fuller House, Hinsdale's first pub-style, family friendly restaurant, is now open to the public. Owned by sibling restaurateurs Sam Vlahos and Patricia Vlahos-Segretto (partners of Bricks Wood Fired Pizza and Cafe), Fuller House offers classic cocktails, craft beer, an extensive bourbon program and upscale, American pub fare in the heart of downtown Hinsdale.
The dining menu offers small bites (crispy house brined pickles; chicken wings; charcuterie board; 312 fried Wisconsin cheese curds), salads (grilled shrimp arugula; southwest; pulled chicken harvest), handhelds (brisket tacos; buffalo chicken; BLTA; caprese; shrimp po'boy; pulled pork), hand-packed prime burgers (derby winner; red devil; day & night; west coast), entrees (grilled salmon; steak frites; 312 fish & chips; BBQ ribs), sides (hand cut truffle parmesan fries; triple mac and cheese; wood fired vegetables), and dessert (strawberry shortcake; chocolate chip cookie skillet; whiskey banana pudding; root beer float). Neapolitan-style pizzas (margherita; arugula and prosciutto; BBQ chicken; pepperoni and ricotta; sausage and caramelized onion) will be baked to order in Fuller House's wood fired oven. A kids' menu, featuring familiar favorites, will be available for children 12 and under. The full menu may be viewed here.
Fuller House's beverage program features 21 bourbon and ryes, classic cocktails (FH Old Fashioned; The Dale Manhattan; Hinsdale Mule; Cucumber Cooler; WaMo; Chicago Sunrise) and seasonal selections of Bulleit bourbon lemonade and house made sangria. The rotating beer program boasts 12 brews on draft and nearly 30 by the bottle, and the global wine list includes bubbles, white, rose and red varietals. The full beverage menu may be viewed here.
